It is located in Argilis of Messinia and is perhaps the unique castle of this form in the whole of Greece .
The castle of fairy tales it was built in the 60s by Charalambos Fournarakis, known as Harry Fournier, in his attempt to bring to life all the fairy tales our grandmothers used to tell.
Combines mismatched stories in time and place , such as the Trojan War and the Greek Revolution, but also figures from Mythology, while it has many turrets hatches and armor.
In the past it was used as a hotel, museum and recreation area while it had also hosted theatrical performances from time to time.
Nowadays it stands proud against the ravages of time and salt, not being able to be maintained by the association that manages it. But the only thing that is certain is that at first glance it manages to bring out the child in each visitor, reminding them of earlier times, so carefree and so innocent that they tend to be forgotten.
