Face of Tutankhamun
Thanks to the new and sophisticated equipment that historical investigations can use today, the characters of the past, even those furthest away from us, have (almost) no more secrets.
A fairly recent careful analysis, for example, revealed that the pharaoh Tutankhamun, died very young in mysterious circumstances and famous above all for the fairytale funeral kit, he was suffering from a physical defect called clubfoot, which forced him to wear a kind of orthopedic shoes.
This particularity, in addition to providing us with more detail on the character in question, could over time prove useful in making us understand which were the most common pathologies in Ancient Egypt.
