Peruvian Art History Course of the National Library of Peru

For the third consecutive year, the National Library of Peru calls for the Peruvian Art History Course Program , which will take place from this Monday, January 27 to Friday, February 21. Outstanding artists and experts in the evolution of national art make up the list of teachers who will carry out the classes, which are aimed primarily at teachers of the specialty of History and Art of Primary and Secondary. The call is also open to all public interested in the development of art in Peru. Registration is free and free, except for those people who after their participation want a Certificate of Participation, for which they must pay S /. 10.00 at the time of registration. From January 27 to February 21

III Peruvian Art History Course

From January 27 to February 21, the National Library of Peru (BNP) will organize the III Art History Course for teachers and the general public that will include:Pre-Hispanic Art, Viceroyalty Art, Republican Art and Contemporary Art.

The presentations will take place in the Auditorium Theater Mario Vargas Llosa of the BNP and will be offered for four weeks, from Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The III Art History Course seeks to develop a general panorama of art through presentations so that, especially, teachers can be the mediators that guide students in the curriculum of these both at the Primary and Secondary levels.

Among the speakers are prominent experts such as Guillermo Lumbreras, Ruth Shady, Fernando de Szyszlo, Luis Enrique Tord, Ricardo Estabridis, Jorge Villacorta, Gustavo Buntinx, among others.

Entrance to the event is free.

Certificate

  • If you want a Certificate you must register and pay S/. 10.00 soles. Registration will take place from Monday, January 20 at the BNP, Av. De la Poesía 160 San Borja. Registration hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.
  • To receive the Certificate they must have a maximum of four days of attendance (an attendance sheet will be stamped upon entry and exit)

Inscriptions

  • To register, you must first pay at the BNP cash desk at the indicated time and then register your data at the Institutional Image Office.
  • There are twenty classes from Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to 1.00 p.m. with a 30-minute intermission (from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
