CZ75

The CZ 75 is a Czech pistol produced in 1975 by Ceská Zbrojovka for export. Taking up the operation of the browning Hi-Power, it is a weapon which is renowned for its qualities of comfort, precision and reliability. Used by Czech and Turkish police as well as several US police departments, the weapon is considered by some to be the best combat weapon in its class. Which earned him a number of clones produced around the world. Among these derivatives, the Italian Tanfoglio TA 95 and the Israeli Jericho 941 are the most popular.

Originally the CZ 75 is a double action pistol. An extra safety on the firing pin was incorporated in the late 1980s. Versions equipped with this extra safety are designated with a B as a suffix. Recently an ultra compact version called 2075 RAMI (9 mm Parabellum and .40 S&W) has been launched, existing in steel or polymer version.

Many versions of mechanisms exist:

Double action and automatic disarming system for the CZ 75 BD, CZ 75 BD compact and the CZ 75 P01 (regulatory in the Czech Police since 2001).
Double action only, automatic disarming system and non-protruding hammer with the CZ 75 DAO and 2075 RAMI.
single action and manual safety system on the CZ 75 SA mainly used for competition.
Automatic firing with the CZ 75 automatic. Like the Glock 18, this pistol is capable of firing bursts at a rate of 1000 rounds per minute. An additional magazine can be attached to the front of the weapon where it serves as a second handle to facilitate control of the weapon.
Ambidextrous controls as the CZ 85.

The CZ 75 is initially chambered in 9mm Parabellum and also has a .40S&W version. The weapon capacity is:

15 shots in 9 mm Parabellum for early models
16 shots in 9 mm Parabellum for recent models
