The Trang Church Viharn (Sarat Chalosantisakul 2521) is an important evidence showing the propagation of Christianity in Trang Province. It is part of the Presbyterian Faculty of Siam. (Protestant Christianity) currently affiliated with the 17th Church Region. Trang Church was born in 1905 (1905) when Phraya Ratsadanupadit ( Kosimbi Na Ranong presented $3,000 to Rev. Dr. Eugene Pressly Dunlap to build Thap Thiang Hospital in Trang Province. and allow free practice of propagation of Christianity However, it is not yet counted as the official start date of Trang Church.

On November 5, 1910, Rev. Dr. Eugene Presley Dunlap selected the land in the Thap Thiang market area to be the location of Thap Thiang Hospital and the location of the Mission Station (Station). announce which refers to the base or operation station of the faculty Therefore, it is the official start of the Trang Church. Leading the initiative in this initial phase were Rev. Dr. Eugene Pressly Dunlap, Rev. Dr. Emaline Wilson Criss. His wife, Dr. Lucius Constant Bulkley, Mrs. Ednah Bruner Bulkley, Mr. Tun (Chinese), and Mr. Chuang Chantaraduk, Thai Medical Assistant This has begun to commemorate the death of Jesus. and baptism Since January 1, 2012 (1912)

Later, in 1913 (1913), Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Krom Phraya Damrong Rajanupap His Highness granted permission to build the Trang Church Cathedral. Bought a place to build a cemetery and a church. On June 1, 1913, 70 members of the Trang Church came to help adjust the land. and built a church made of bamboo, with a thatched roof, on the soil that had helped to grow including building a bench and decorated until it was completed within 1 day, known as “Thap Thiang Chanting Hall”, used as a place of worship instead of the former place, which was the meeting room of Thap Thiang Hospital.

Later in the year 1915 (1915) built a new church made of brick and plaster called. "Wihan Thap Thiang" or the Trang Church Cathedral Which still appears to the present day, on November 11, 1915 there was a ceremony dedicated to this building. and held a three-day celebration between November 28-30, 1915. The temple could accommodate around 200 worshipers.

The interior is divided into a small hall in front of the door. and the great hall inside where the wall above the facade of the small hall has the inscription saying “Christian Vihara built in 1915”, the front entrance is divided into left-right rooms. For storage and a hallway up the stairs to the tower where the brass bell stands. On the side of the building there is a bell tower. The roof of the bell tower when it was first built was a deck. Shaped like an ancient military fort Later, the bell tower was added and moved from the 2nd floor to the 3rd floor, as well as changed the shape of the roof of the bell tower.

In 1985, there was a restoration of Trang Church Cathedral. It operates between September and October. This restoration has replaced the roofing material from old cement tiles. into synthetic fiber tiles Improve the ceiling by lining the gypsum tiles. Change the floor from rough cement floor to floor with creamy white ceramic tiles. Paint the walls both outside and inside. and made a new stage to lower the height.

2007:The Executive Committee of Trang Church deems it appropriate to restore the dilapidated Thap Thiang Vihara.
