Bessieres Jean-Baptiste (1768 - 1813)

Of great bravery under the Empire, he was cited several times for his exploits. He accompanies Bonaparte to Egypt, and protects him during 18 Brumaire. He charges at Marengo and commands the imperial cavalry at Austerlitz and Eylau where he is decisive. He was killed by a cannonball during the Saxony campaign.
