The five most daring actions of the Polish police

Alone and in a group, day and night - they track, pursue and catch the most dangerous criminals. You do not believe in our uniforms and their effectiveness? Here are five proofs that the Polish police are second to none!

Anti-terrorists, CBŚ agents and ordinary officers, risking their lives, participate in the most daring actions to clean the streets of the biggest "bandit scum". Meet the most daring actions of the Polish police!

Pruszków, or "The boys from the neighborhood"

The notoriety of this city began in the late 1980s. The Mafia, whose seat was in Pruszków near Warsaw, was famous for its brutality. Extortion, racketeering, alcohol and cigarette smuggling, drug production and sale, as well as ransom kidnappings and contract killings . The range of services offered by "The Boys Next Door" seemed endless.

Everyone knew about everything. Local mafiosi didn't really hide the way they earn a living. But it wasn't enough to get them. Nobody wanted to testify, and hard evidence of their criminal activities was still lacking.

In 1999, however, there was a man thanks to whom the police managed to bravely destroy the structures of the Pruszków mafia. Jarosław "Masa" Sokołowski, as a contrite gangster, started cooperation with the police and the prosecutor's office. Three years later he obtained the status of a crown witness.

Thanks to his testimony, the policemen, together with the CBŚ officers, liquidated almost the entire "board" of the Pruszków underworld. The Nightingale was detained in Spain, the Frog in Bulgaria, and Grafa in South Africa. However, the arrests did not always go according to plan. The local police, wanting to claim most of the credit for themselves, looked at our officers with an unfavorable eye, who had been chasing the bandits day and night in the sweat of their brow.

Law enforcement officers acted quickly and decisively. There was no time to make a mistake. Daring actions under the cover of night, the sounds of shots and a loud roar "on the soil!" - here the jokes ended. Nobody really cared if any of the bandits got hurt more than they should. There was no pity for them - just as they never had pity for their victims ...

Goal:get the "Kantorowców"

A special police unit was preparing long and meticulously for the break-up of the "Gang of kantorowców". In September 2012, the biggest police operation in recent years began . Specially trained officers supported by CBŚ agents broke into several dozen apartments in the Świętokrzyskie, Mazowieckie and Śląskie voivodships.

Nearly 40 people constituting the core of the gang of arms and drug dealers were arrested. 75 weapons, over 9,000 rounds of ammunition and 10 kilograms of TNT and reagents for the production of explosives were intercepted. Large amounts of drugs were also secured (3 kg of amphetamines, over 230 grams of marijuana and 84 cannabis bushes).

The preparations for the operation were kept strictly secret because this gang was one of the most dangerous Polish criminal groups . The bandits specialized in raids on exchange offices, and they had several dozen murders to their credit.

The detainees were then charged with a total of 41 charges :participation in an organized crime group, drug trafficking, as well as the illegal possession, manufacture and trafficking of weapons and ammunition.

"Shadow Hunters". To help the FBI agents

"Shadow Hunters" is a special unit of police officers from the 3rd CBŚ board, for whom catching bandits is more than a profession. They are quiet, discreet, mysterious, and above all - hellishly effective . Over the past four years, they have arrested over two hundred of the most dangerous criminals. It was to them that FBI agents turned to them for help earlier this year.

The case was shrouded in the greatest mystery. Three foreigners (an Israeli and two Jordanians) were wanted by international law enforcement officers with the so-called "red note" , which is a special operational marking informing that we are dealing with extremely dangerous and ruthless criminals.

The accusations against the wanted were serious - trafficking in huge amounts of illegal substances and money laundering. Interpol and the FBI gave chase together. They scoured 190 countries - in vain. Criminals were always one step ahead of the police.

When it seemed that the great manhunt would come to nothing, information appeared that the "bandit trio" had arrived in Warsaw. They wanted to buy 50 pure cocaine. Without a second thought, "Shadow Hunters" were asked for help.

Anti-terrorist at the show in Wolin

Poles quickly found the traders' trail. The transaction was to take place in the center of Warsaw on April 22, 2016. To minimize the danger to ordinary citizens, Al. Ujazdowskie. Moments after the agreed sign, "Hunters" stormed into one of Warsaw's premises.

The detention itself did not take more than ten minutes. Surprised foreigners did not even try to resist. Perhaps they knew that there were no more jokes with the policemen of the 3rd CBŚ board.

After the arrest, there was no flashlight, no journalistic microphones, and no cheering crowd of onlookers straight from American sensational films. Just a modest note of congratulations from the Americans and a pat on the back from the superiors.

"Bandziorek" from Costa del Sol

After the Pruszkow mafia was broken up, its members were forced to find a new job. Most of them, however, did not leave the criminal underworld. Soon after, they "operated" all over Europe.

Military Police

The 47-year-old Piotr K., the telling pseudonym "Bandziorek", headed a group that smuggled bulk quantities of hashish from Africa and cocaine from South America.

After some time, however, the gang was tracked down by Europol. In the spring of 2016, several countries were selected where members of the "Bandit" gang were detained, arrest warrants were issued and the Polish police were asked again for help.

The first detentions in Denmark took place almost immediately on 13 April. Two Poles and 75 kilograms of hashish fell into the hands of the officers. On May 6, the policemen struck a second time - this time in France. The result was impressive:thirty-four kilos of marijuana and more arrests.

A month later in Spain, 6 Poles were arrested, and over a ton of hashish was placed in the police warehouse. The success was huge, but the Polish policemen have not yet said the last word. They were getting ready for the final act of the play, "Get the Bandit"

The end of this covert operation took place in July this year. In the Spanish Costa del Sol, the famous "Thug" and all his most important people were captured. Police officers also closed down an illegal cannabis plantation, seized guns, drugs and 20 luxury passenger cars. A total of 23 people were detained, including 12 Poles who learned their bandit craft in the infamous Pruszków near Warsaw ...

Not that Rambo scary…

The course of actions, even those planned down to the smallest detail, is unpredictable. At times, a series of disastrous events can wipe out weeks or months of preparation. Fortunately, thanks to the professionalism and composure of the services, even such unlucky actions end with a spectacular success.

This was the case in 2015, for example, when policemen from the Warsaw department for combating criminal terrorism decided to "grab" the leaders of one of the Warsaw criminal groups. Several weeks of planning, selected three goals, set time. Everything was supposed to play out like clockwork. The main goal was to capture Wiesław K., who in his underworld proudly bore the nickname "Rambo" .

A few years earlier, he was active in "Wyszkow Mafia", then he moved around various circles, to finally settle in the famous "Wołomin". He did racketeering from escort agencies, and he did not spare roadside escort ladies.

Police officers, anti-terrorists and the Military Police must act quickly and without hesitation. Exercises of special services

The policemen found his trail thanks to a prostitute who was kidnapped by Rambo in order to extort money from her "guardian". When the promoter of the maid did not agree to pay, Wiesław K. decided to let the woman go. Not for free, of course. He forced oral sex on a woman in return for his freedom.

After her visit to the police station, the police determined that she was a man whose search had been going on for several years. Three places were selected. Anti-terrorists knocked about the world there.

Rambo was not in the first apartment. However, there was another gangster there, a certain Marcin S. known to the police as "Skorup". He put up a strong resistance to the attempted arrest, which ended up severely mutilating the thug. Before he was taken out, the doctor had to give him urgent medical attention.

The second place didn't go smoothly either. The man staying there also did not want to surrender himself to the law enforcement officers, so he punished his guests with an aggressive dog. When one of the policemen killed the animal, the desperate gangster became as docile as a lamb and even handcuffed himself.

A flawless shot of a bandit by the Polish services

Then it was Rambo's turn. The anti-terrorists found him in third place. The entry into the house and the arrest of the bandit was exemplary, but the trouble began when the apartment was searched. There is a short circuit in the electrical system. A fire broke out and quickly spread to the apartments of innocent neighbors. The summoned fire brigade defeated the fire, the inhabitants were hurriedly evacuated, and Rambo turned out to be much less dangerous than his film prototype ...

Probably everyone has an opinion about the Polish police. Some of our uniformed people respect, others hate. However, this does not change the fact that it is thanks to courageous officers that the inhabitants of Polish towns and villages can feel safe.
