Teenage, Hislibris Award for Best Historical Essay

The act, whose morning session took place in the Association of Spanish Writers and Artists, opened with an interesting round table on historical comics with the participation of Alberto Pérez, co-editor of Desperta Ferro Ediciones, and Pedro Cifuentes, author of Historia del arte en comic, moderated by Óscar González Camaño (aka Farsalia) from HisLibre. After Pedro outlined his work process, his peculiar educational philosophy (with his maxim "the opposite of fun is not serious, it's boring") and the paths that have led to our respective paths crossing, these three "old » shared with the audience their different approach to historical comics, from those influences that marked our childhood (from Asterix to Historia de Aqui de Forges) to the most rabidly current titles, and of course the importance of comics as a didactic vehicle and disclosure of History.

Then the most awaited moment of the tomorrow, the delivery of the IX Hislibris Awards , the famous Celedonios, who fell on:

Before saying goodbye to go to Pedro's signature Cifuentes at the Book Fair, we enjoyed a fellowship meal with these good people at La Pecera del Círculo de Bellas Artes, a magnificent climax to an emotional morning.

Very grateful for this award! Until next year, fellow Hislibreños!
