Lak Loi Waterfall is part of Khlong Nong Ngag, flowing from Khao Pho Ta Song Khong, a large, complex mountain range that continually flows from the east side. (in Chumphon province) to join with Khlong Nong Nga Noi and Khlong Ratchakrut. before entering the Andaman Sea between Ao Son and Ao Yai Kim which is about 5 kilometers to the west.

The floating waterfall is at the foot of Pha Pho Ta Song Khong, which is filled with small to large pebbles. It is a distance of more than 1 kilometer long, cascading down the slopes, causing the appearance of a waterfall. It flows all year round.

The area of ​​the archaeological site is the Lak Loi Waterfall and surrounding areas, approximately not less than 1 square kilometer. which is a gravel yard At present, the gravel courtyard has sediment deposited about 1-1.5 meters thick. These sediments are caused by the flow of water from the mountains, flooding. and organic matter Plants and animals from the cultivation of the people who live in this area

Geological conditions

- Stone-cracking tools made of polygonal pebbles. There are 3-4 large cracks on the sides, size 16.00 cm long, 12.75 cm wide, 5.77 cm thick.

- Stone-breaker tool made of polygon-thick pebble stone. It looks like a large chopping-cut tool. The original surface of the stone (Cortex) is very much left, with 2-3 large cracks on the sides, size 17.00 cm long, 15.80 cm wide, 9.20 cm thick, 9.20 cm thick

- A rounded polygonal chisel tool, one face is the original surface of the rock, the middle is high and slopes down to the side, where a few cracks or marks are used, the other is a splinter crack. (flake) from the rock core (core) size 14.69 cm long, 11.28 cm wide, 8.00 cm thick

- Rectangular cracker stone tool with a crack on one face on the long side and a crack on the other face, size 12.20 centimeters long, 8.88 centimeters wide, and 5.43 centimeters thick.

- A polygon-thick stone cracker with cracks on one face on two sides, the other part is a crack and the original surface of the stone, size 12.25 cm long, 12.15 cm wide, 6.07 cm thick

- Stone-cracking tools made of limestone. Isosceles-flat triangle-like shape The top corners are rounded out on both sides, and there are cracks on both sides. until the end The base is a straight cut, 13.90 cm long, 10.35 cm wide, 3.33 cm thick.

- Stone-breaker tools made of oval-flat limestone. One face is mostly the original surface of the stone, the other face is cracked with many cracks around the long arc edge, size is 15.35 cm long, 10.93 cm wide, 3.65 cm thick.

- Stone-cracking tools made of limestone. Long-flat polygon with smooth cracks on both sides and cracks on both long sides converging at one end. Length 13.40 cm., width 8.77 cm., thickness 3.34 cm.

- Stone-breaker tools made of polygon-flat limestone. Most of the surface is the original surface of the stone, both faces have cracks on the edge. One side length, 12.20 cm long, 12.14 cm wide, 3.33 cm thick

- Stone-cracking tools made of triangular limestone. Both faces are relatively smooth and straight, similar to the original surface of the stone, with 3-4 cracks on one long side, size 12.20 cm long, 8.21 cm wide, 3.60 cm thick.

The area where antiques are found is a road. It is about 1.5-2 meters wide, from the northern canal north up to the Lak Loi Waterfall.
