General Condition

Located outside the city wall on the north side, about 400 meters from the gate of Saphan Khom. Currently, Ratchadamnoen 2 Road or National Highway No. 101 (Kamphaeng Phet-Sukhothai) cuts through the west side of the temple.

Geological conditions

The soil is sandy and has a layer of river sediment sand. Because this area was originally a plain on the banks of the Ping River. Later, the Ping River became shallow due to the deposition of sand sediments and sandy soil, thus forming a plain around this Kamphaeng Phet town.

Wat Dong Wai is located outside the city wall on the north side, about 200 meters from the bridge gate.
