1. Enter programming mode.
-Press the [MODE] key repeatedly until "PGM" appears on the display.
2. Select a department.
-Press the [DEPT] key repeatedly until the desired department number appears on the display.
3. Enter the item code.
-Key in the 4-digit item code for the item you want to program.
4. Enter the item name.
-Key in the name of the item, up to 20 characters.
5. Enter the item price.
-Key in the price of the item, up to 8 digits, including decimal point.
6. Set the tax rate.
-Press the [TAX] key repeatedly until the desired tax rate appears on the display.
7. Save the item.
-Press the [ENTER] key to save the item into the cash register's memory.
8. Repeat steps 3-7 to program additional items.
9. Exit programming mode.
-Press the [MODE] key until "REG" appears on the display.
