Where were quarries for the material used to build pyramids located?

Quarries used in the construction of the pyramids in Egypt were located at various sites throughout the ancient Egyptian landscape. The primary source of stone for building pyramids was limestone and granite. Limestone quarries were located in areas closest to the pyramids, while granite quarries were farther away, often in the Aswan region. Notably, the Great Pyramid of Giza utilized both limestone and granite, procured from quarries in nearby Tura and Aswan, respectively.
