Where is the fertile cresent located?

The Fertile Crescent is a historical region of Southwest Asia comprising the land roughly coinciding with the regions comprising northern parts of modern-day Syria, modern-day Lebanon, southern and central Turkey, Jordan, Israel, West Bank, the Gaza Strip, Kuwait, northeastern Egypt, western and southern Iran, and northern Saudi Arabia. It includes the regions where some of the earliest civilisations were founded, along the valleys of the rivers Tigris and Euphrates.
