Where did Daedalus come from?

Daedalus was a mythical craftsman and inventor from ancient Greece. He was the son of Metion, an Athenian craftsman and sculptor, and had a sister named Perdix or Talus. Daedalus was renowned for his exceptional skills and creativity in various fields, including architecture, engineering, and sculpture. He is often associated with the myth of the Labyrinth and his escape from Crete with his son, Icarus.
