What did hunter-gatherers survive on?

Hunter-gatherers were people who lived by hunting wild animals and gathering wild plants. They were the earliest type of humans, and they lived in small groups of around 20-30 people. They were constantly moving from place to place in search of food, and they had to be very skilled at hunting and gathering in order to survive.

Food sources:

- Meat: Hunter-gatherers hunted a variety of animals, including deer, rabbits, fish, and birds. They used spears, bows and arrows, and traps to catch their prey.

- Plants: Hunter-gatherers gathered a variety of plants, including fruits, nuts, berries, and vegetables. They also ate roots, tubers, and leaves.

- Other food sources: Hunter-gatherers also ate insects, eggs, and shellfish. They also sometimes ate the meat of other animals that had been killed by predators or scavengers.
