Historical story

What time would a scullery maid get up at in the Victorian times?

In the Victorian era, a scullery maid's working hours were long and demanding. They typically started their day at 6 am or even earlier, and worked until 8 or 9 pm, with only short breaks for meals. Their duties included cleaning the kitchen and scullery, washing dishes and pots, preparing vegetables, and assisting the cook. They were also responsible for cleaning the family's shoes and boots.
