Who was deported in the great deportation?

During the Great Deportation of the Crimean Tatars in 1944, approximately 190,000 Crimean Tatars were forcibly deported from the Crimean Peninsula by the Soviet regime under the leadership of Joseph Stalin. Men, women, children, and the elderly were all forcefully removed from their homeland and dispersed across various remote regions of Central Asia, primarily in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
