How long did the gas chambers take to kill Jews?

The gas chambers at the Nazi death camps were designed to kill people as quickly as possible, and typically took between 15 and 30 minutes to kill everyone inside. The victims would be packed into the chambers, which were then sealed and filled with Zyklon B, a highly toxic gas. The gas would quickly spread through the chamber, and the victims would begin to suffocate, then die.
