What humorous incidents did Marian Anderson are recounted here?

Marian Anderson recounted several humorous incidents in her autobiography. One of them involved her experience in a segregated train station in Texas. Determined not to be treated as inferior because of her race, Anderson marched into the white women's restroom, ignoring the signs that forbade her from doing so. Much to her surprise and amusement, the white women inside, upon seeing a well-dressed African American woman, instantly left the room as she entered.

In another incident, when she was performing in Copenhagen, Anderson noticed a small black cat backstage that seemed to be in love with her. Anderson decided to take the cat back with her to the United States. During the flight to Sweden, the cat sat between Anderson and her accompanist, Kurt Peterson, and enjoyed a box of chocolates that Anderson had with her. Anderson jokingly commented that she had never had a passenger like the cat.

These incidents showcase the lighthearted and humorous moments that Marian Anderson encountered throughout her extraordinary life and career.
