Kleber Jean-Baptiste(1753 - 1800)

Kléber is an architect, he will serve the Austrian army before leaving it. He distinguished himself at the siege of Mainz, which he defended with heroism (Germany). In the Vendée he was made general of division on the battlefield for having crushed the royalists at Cholet. He then distinguished himself at Fleurus, but left the Army because he disagreed with Jourdan. He left with Napoleon for Egypt where he took command of the army after his departure. He was stabbed in Cairo in 1800.
