Spill Magisterial successfully presented the final stretch of the CPEP

Before an audience of more than 300 people including authorities, teachers, representatives of various institutions and personalities from the educational, cultural and artistic fields, the Editorial Fund of Spill Magisterial presented, with success, the last five volumes (from 11 to 15) of his monumental Peruvian Educational Thought Collection (CPEP), in the main auditorium of the Lima Chamber of Commerce. This collection constitutes a valuable contribution of Spill Magisterial to the teaching community, as it brings together writings by the main thinkers and intellectuals of each period of our educational history, on how teaching, educational management and the philosophy of learning were developed. Soon, this transcendent publication will be available in Lima's commercial bookstore circuit, as well as in municipal and university libraries. Currently the 15 volumes are for sale in our Pedagogical Bookstore.


“This collection is an unprecedented effort that deserves to be disseminated and known throughout Peru”. With these words, the Vice Minister of Institutional Management of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Fernando Bolaños Galdós, closed his speech in the presentation of the last section of the monumental Peruvian Educational Thought Collection, published by the Editorial Fund of Magisterial Spill, on Thursday, March 27 in the Samuel Gleiser Katz Auditorium of the Lima Chamber of Commerce.
The central presentation was given by Dr. Manuel Burga Díaz, former rector of the National University of San Marcos and current vice-chancellor of the Antonio Ruiz de Montoya University. The prominent historian commented on the importance of knowing the development of educational thought in Peru and highlighted the teamwork that he carried out, commissioned by Derrama Magisterial, together with 18 other prestigious researchers to define the course of this important contribution to Peruvian education. . “Recovering the past to face the challenges of the future, that is the spirit of this collection”, expressed Burga before the crowded auditorium.
The volumes presented (from 11 to 15), cover a period of almost eight decades, from 1933 to 2011 and address interesting topics such as the influence of the indigenous movement on education; the management of Jorge Basadre and Carlos Cueto Fernandini in the development of educational inventories; the Educational Reform proposed by the government of Juan Velasco Alvarado; linguistic and cultural diversity in the educational systems of the 21st and 21st centuries; and the current situation of education, through an analysis of what has happened since the recovery of democracy in 1980 to the present day.
“This great editorial effort constitutes the greatest academic contribution of our institution to the knowledge of education in the country and its projection into the future”, said Professor Pablo Helí Ocaña Alejo, President of the Board of Directors of Spill Magisterial, during his welcoming remarks, accompanied by Professor César Reyes Valle and Economist Fernando Pazos Cherres, General Manager and Manager administration, respectively.
For his part, Professor Fidel Quispe Aedo, secretary of organization of Sutep, expressed his satisfaction, on behalf of the teaching profession, to see this unprecedented editorial project crystallized, as well as the importance it has for the teaching community this publication promoted and sponsored entirely by Spill Magisterial.

Volume XI, Militarisms and Indigenous Teachers, 1993 -1956, its author is the historian Antonio Zapata Velasco. Volume XII, Inventories and Prolegomena of the Reform, 1956-1968, its author is the educator José Rivero Herrera. Volume XIII, Educating in Times of Change, 1968-1975, authored by Patricia Oliart Sotomayor. Volume XIV, Educational Dilemmas in the Face of Diversity, XX-XXI Century, was written by the anthropologist Lucy Trapnell Forero and the linguist Virginia Zavala Cisneros. Volume XV Change, Continuity, Change and Search for Consensus, 1980-2011, whose author is the social sociologist Ricardo Cuenca Pareja.
