General Condition

Archaeological site number 11 is an abandoned archaeological site. It is located in the northeast of the ancient city of Sri Mahosot. Surrounded by people's houses

The ancient city was surrounded by a moat. It is located on a plain near forest and low mountains in the same valley as Dong Phaya Yen. Geological conditions

The condition of the ancient city was a sedimentary plain during the Holocene period.

Archaeological site number 11 (003) is located outside the city on the northeast side. On the base of the ancient site there are 2 bases of idols enshrined, namely

- The idol base is made of sandstone, width 86 centimeters, length 1.50 meters and height 55 centimeters, with a round shape for supporting the dowels of 3 idols. It is assumed that the right side is for the Bodhisattva Avalokite. Sawan In the middle enshrines a Buddha image. On the left side is an image of Nang Panya Baramee.

- The idol's base made of sandstone Width 1.20 1.20 meters, height 35 centimeters, with holes for supporting idol dowels. In addition, the excavation also found antiques made of bronze. Khmer art in the Bayon period Age around the 18th Buddhist century, including a bronze bowl with inscriptions indicating A.D. 1109 and a bronze bowl with Khmer inscriptions.
