archaeological essence

Wat Phra Non is a large temple located in the Aranyik area outside Kamphaeng Phet on the north side. The name of Wat Phra Non is called later. Its origin is within the Viharn enshrined a reclining Buddha image. In front of the temple there is a group of ancient sites consisting of a pavilion, a bathroom and a pond. The area is rectangular in shape. Important buildings within the temple line the east-west axis. The Ubosot is a building located at the front end with eight parapet bases around the Ubosot. Next to the chapel to the back is the reclining Buddha Viharn. Inside the viharn, there is still a altar enshrining a reclining Buddha image. The Buddha was completely destroyed. The pillar of the temple supporting the roof is a single square laterite column that is large and large. About 4-5 meters wide on each side, about 4-5 meters in height. The main chedi is next to the viharn to the west. It is a bell-shaped chedi in the specific style of Kamphaeng Phet. Next to the main chedi, to the back, there is a building base and a square mondop (Department of Fine Arts 2009 :78 - 81).
