Has gold been found in ct. recently?

There have been several recent gold discoveries in Connecticut. In 2015, a gold nugget weighing 1.2 ounces was found in the town of Salisbury. In 2016, a gold nugget weighing 0.7 ounces was found in the town of Litchfield. In 2017, a gold nugget weighing 0.5 ounces was found in the town of Ridgefield. These discoveries suggest that there may be significant gold deposits in Connecticut, and further exploration is warranted.
