Where did the name cango caves came from?

The Cango Caves are a system of limestone caves located near Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The caves are named after the nearby Cango River, which in turn is named after the Khoi people who originally inhabited the area. The name "Cango" is derived from the Khoi word "!ka!kau", which means "place of water".
