In the second season of the TV series The Colony, Sian was abducted by the Redhats, a group of extremists who believe that the only way to survive the harsh conditions of the colony is to return to a more primitive way of life. Sian was taken to the Redhats' compound, where she was forced to work as a slave and was subjected to physical and psychological abuse. She eventually managed to escape with the help of Bram and Katie, but she was left traumatized by her experience.
