The ancient city of Suea Mueang Shrine is located on the land of Mr. Lamai Khruthonasingh, No. 20, Village No. 2, Tak Daet Subdistrict, Mueang Chumphon District, Chumphon Province. Currently, it is an orchard.

According to the information of the Fine Arts Department The area where the city court is located is "Wat Suea Mueang" which is an old temple, the original condition of the Suea Mueang Shrine was a shingle pavilion. Later restored to a concrete building. Inside the shrine stands an altar with a sandstone stick and a wooden stake called "Phra Song Muang" (The Fine Arts Department 2022)

Local scholars such as Ajarn Sanan Chumworathayee assumed that the area around the Suea Mueang Shrine and Wat Pratem It is an old community of Chumphon. Its territory starts from the Chumphon River between Wat Phra Kwang on the west and Wat Pradem on the east. Found evidence of brick construction of large buildings scattered everywhere. Some groups of bricks resemble the base of a chedi or may be a wall line (Department of Fine Arts 2022).

However, a survey conducted by the Sirindhorn Anthropology Center on 17 July 2013 found that there are currently two courts in the city shirts, namely the old court and the new court. Local residents say that Su Muang Shrine is a sacred place for the community that has been in its present location for hundreds of years.

The roof of the shingle, the walls of the court on the sides (wide side) and the back form a solid wall. But the upper part of the wall is made of transparent brick blocks, the front is open and there are no walls and doors. At the front made a protruding chan. There are cement columns supporting the roof of the 2 terraces. The roof of the terrace is continuous from the court. In addition, a galvanized roof extends from the west side of the court. (Side) The floor of the court, both inside and the porch is sloping with cement.

Inside the court, on the east side, there is a cement plinth attached to the wall painted in yellow. There is a large termite mound on the platform as well as on the floor and on the walls. There are also various offerings placed in front of the platform.

Villagers in the area gave information that the old court was originally a two-storey building, the ground floor was cement. The upper floor was made of wood, but it had deteriorated over time and the upper floor was torn down, leaving only the lower floor as it appears today.

New Court Located about 10 meters from the old court to the south, the new court is a whole wooden court, about 2x3 meters in size, raised from the garden floor about 80 centimeters high, with corrugated tiles facing south, just like the old court. All walls except the front are solid walls. The front is open with no walls or doors and is a cantilevered terrace. There is a 3 step wooden staircase in the center of the front leading from the deck to the outside floor.
