10. Zoofil-exhibitionist

There are partners with unusual sexual preferences ... And there is Mswati III, arguably the most perverted dictator of recent decades. With his habits, even Hitler's masochistic tendencies, Mussolini's legions of lovers, and Kim Jong-il's sex teams seem not very extravagant.

The Incwala festival is the most important event of the year for the people of Swaziland. For their ruler, in turn, it is an opportunity to fulfill their zoophilic whims. In the photo, warriors in festival costumes (photo:iulian circo; CC BY-SA 2.0).

In Swaziland, where Mswati III has ruled for over thirty years, the Incwala festival is organized annually. It begins in the first days of December and lasts until the end of January. His subjects then celebrate the king's return to public life after spiritual contemplation, and the king strengthens his power and position in the state. Sounds normal? Only seemingly. The central point of the celebration is the moment when the king puts his penis into ... the anus of the bull.

The intercourse lasts almost until climax. The monarch's sperm goes to a special corner. Later, it is mixed with food prepared for people participating in the celebration. It does not end with one act of zoophilia. A day later, the king has another intercourse with the bull ... And after all, still finds the strength to have sex with his spouses, which is known because it takes place in public (read more about it).

9. A very agile widow

A story as a cautionary tale for everyone who uses dating sites. Social advertisements, mainly matrimonial ones, were also very fashionable at the end of the 19th century. And even then they were used not only for romantic purposes. A young widow, Belle Gunnes, decided to repair her funds a little with a newspaper advertisement. She had one condition for future husband candidates:they had to have money.

Belle Gunness, a good wife and mother? Well, appearances are often deceptive (source:public domain).

They had to prove their material status by bringing with them at least $ 500. Men began to arrive at Belle. They came, they brought money, but they never left. Before the truth came out, she poisoned and buried at least 28 men on her property.

Their bones were found when a fire broke out in Belle's house. The shocking discovery also shed new light on the past of the agile widow. Before she started her murderous business, she had already buried two husbands. The police found the second ... with an ax in the head. However, Belle was then able to convince the judiciary that the death was due to a tragic accident (read more on this).

8. Stalker

The word "stalking" was originally used mainly by hunters and meant persistently tracking down game during hunting. It was not until the 1980s that the American media began to use the term to describe the persecution of celebrities by their admirers. This does not mean, however, that this practice was not practiced in the past. Katarzyna Rzewuska is a perfect proof of that.

Katarzyna Rzewuska, later Duchess Katarzyna Radziwiłłowa, emerges from the chaos. Could the author of the picture, Giovanni Boldini, aptly captured the indomitable nature of the Polish woman? (source:public domain).

When Katarzyna's marriage to Prince Adam Radziwiłł broke up, the attractive divorced woman began to look for someone who would ensure her life at the appropriate level. Her choice fell on an influential South African politician - British-born Cecil Rhodes. She met him in February 1896 at a party in London. And she went straight to action. She began sending Rhodes letters asking for advice. Then it was time for small gifts and compliments.

Over time, she became more and more intrusive. She had booked the same tickets to Africa as Rhodes. This forced a politician who was reluctant to become acquainted with him to constantly postpone his travels. Despite the secrets, she found him anyway on a ship bound for Cape Town ... Finally, Rhodes bowed and invited Catherine, the "princess of confusion", home. It was the biggest mistake of his life. Soon after, the woman was spreading rumors about their relationship and even their engagement (read more about that).

7. Syfilityk

Convulsions, nervous palsy and, above all, progressive mental disorders. These are just some of the symptoms of syphilis - one of the most sinister sexually transmitted diseases. Its historical role is still underestimated. Meanwhile, Al Capone, Randolph Churchill (Winston's father) and Ivan the Terrible suffered from syphilis. It is possible that it was also at the root of Adolf Hitler's madness.

The Führer of the Thousand-Year Reich a syphilitic? This is a tempting thesis, although in this one case we can only speculate. The information that Hitler was struggling with syphilis years later was published in his memoirs by his friend from the times of the Nazi meetings in beer halls and the Munich coup, Putzi Hanfstaengl. According to this renegade Nazi, the future leader of Germany contracted syphilis as early as 1908 in Vienna .

Surprisingly, this thread of his research was completely downplayed by later researchers and readers - instead of mentioning Kile, in subsequent books, Hanfstaengel's insights on Hitler's addiction to masturbation were cited in subsequent books. , his undefined sexual orientation and impotence (read more about this).

6. Russian Tsar (who would be a very poor father)

It would seem that the monarch is a good candidate for a husband and father. Crowned heads tend to be obsessed especially with sons. To beget them, they are ready for divorces and international disputes. But in what is rumored to be a state of mind, heirs to the throne could expect insults, beatings, and even cruel death. At the hands of my own parent…

Alexius could not count on paternal pity or grace. A painting by Nikolai Gay from 1871 showing Peter the Great interrogating his son. In this case, even without torture (source:public domain).

The tragic fate befell Tsarevich Ivan Ivanovich, son of Ivan the Terrible. He was an almost exact copy of the violent father. The tsar saw him as a worthy successor. Despite this, the boy has experienced a heavy paternal hand more than once. The tragedy happened when Ivan Sr. beat his pregnant daughter-in-law for finding her in only one shirt. Tsarevich's wife had a miscarriage. The quarrel that followed a day later between the father and son turned into a fight, during which the tsar hit his son on the temple with a scorching cane - a cane ended with a metal ferrule . Doctors failed to help and young Ivan died after a few days.

More than a hundred years later, Tsar Peter the Great also turned out to be ruthless for his offspring. The numerous frictions with his son, Alexius, led the monarch to treating his firstborn only as a tool in the hands of the opposition. He allowed him to be tortured - so much so that he lost consciousness many times - and accepted the death sentence issued on his son (read more about this).

5. Baba Yaga

Someone proposing "miracle" potions should always arouse suspicion. But not always behind his offer is a business as macabre as it was in the case of Enriqueta Martí and Ripollés. This attractive woman and ... a serial killer, hailed as a "vampire from Barcelona", worked - at the beginning of the 20th century! - simultaneously pimping children, black magic and healing.

After the arrest of a Barcelona vampire, two girls were found in her apartment:Teresita (left) and Angelita (right). Only these two victims of Enriquet (in the background) were saved ... (collage Antoni Esplugas, source:public domain).

Enriqueta kidnapped children in a truly fairy-tale style - tempted with sweets, and then hid them under her coat. In her apartment, she physically abused them and starved them, giving only potatoes and old bread to eat. Some of them faced an even more terrible fate:

She kidnapped babies and infants and murdered them, and then used their remains to make potions that she sold for large sums to rich townspeople. The blood, fat, hair and bones of the defenseless victims were the basis of tonics, liniments and compresses with healing power that the rich bought to cure tuberculosis (read more about it).

4. Childkiller doctor

A respected court expert, developing his academic career, decorated with the Austrian Cross of First Class for Merit in the Fields of Science and Art ... The story of Dr. Heinrich Gross is another warning, this time for those who value prestige. Gross, who worked quietly in the profession until his retirement, and until 1997 (or 1998) he worked as a forensic expert, because he was at the same time ... a murderer of hundreds of children.

It was only thirty years after the end of the war that the Austrian press began to describe the criminal practices committed by Dr. Heinrich Gross.

Gross, born in 1915, joined the Hitler Youth at the age of seventeen. Immediately after the anschluss, he became a member of the NSDAP. In 1940, the young doctor started working in Spiegelgrund, and for two years he was the head of the clinic. During this time, selected children to die every 2-3 weeks . His passage was like a gust of cool wind - recalled one of those who lived to see the liberation. The Nazi medic's signature appears under the 238 death records of patients sentenced to death.

How did Gross avoid punishment for complicity in the mass murders that took place in Spiegelgrund? The Austrian judiciary is to blame. In this case, the prosecution of the crimes of the Nazi period seemed grotesque (read more on this topic).

3. Furious fiancée from pre-war Poland

In the Second Polish Republic, there were many women whom no one would want to meet on their way. Not only on Valentine's Day. It is surprising, however, that an exceptionally dangerous group were ... brides! Betrayed or abandoned the girls kept pouring bottles of sulfuric acid onto their infidel brides' faces . And when there was no acid at hand, they would take some other poison, tar, or even lard.

Lard with cracklings? How about a fiance with cracklings? (photo Kagor, license CC ASA 3.0).

For example, the trial of Chaja Junkierówna, who - when things started to go wrong in her relationship - decided to cook her fiancé, Perec Elenberg, in boiling lard was loud. This is the story reported by Dziennik Poranny:

On the critical day, Elenberg arrived at Junkierowa's apartment, where a row broke out, and Chaja Junkierówna poured boiling lard on Elenberg, who was sleeping in her bed. Junkierowa gagged her fiancé's mouth, her brothers held him by the arms and legs, and her daughter poured boiling lard on him (read more about it).

2. Serial Killer

Unfortunately, appearances are often deceptive. This was the case with Władysław Mazurkiewicz. This widely respected citizen lived in luxury even in difficult post-war times. Funny, attractive, well-mannered and always elegant, he aroused admiration among men and admiration among women. Nobody even for a moment guessed that he was a cruel serial killer . The first in post-war Poland to commit crimes solely for profit.

Władysław Mazurkiewicz had the appearance of a film lover. Who could have suspected that he was really a bloody murderer? (press photo from 1956).

The second, much more terrifying face, the man discovered in himself during the war, in 1940. He killed his victims with potassium cyanide. He served the poison in tea or ham sandwiches. After the murder, he took money and jewelry, and drowned the bodies of the unfortunates in the Vistula. He made an exception only for his two neighbors, whose bodies he bricked up in the floor of his own garage.

Soon he swapped the poison for a gun. He shot his victims in the head. He only dropped by when a certain businessman he was about to kill managed to escape. The man came to the doctor with a bullet in his skull. Suspicions immediately fell on Mazurkiewicz. At first, he did not plead guilty, but after presenting irrefutable evidence, he changed his attitude. From that moment on, he spoke proudly of his murders. Confessed to killing 30 people, mostly women (read more about it).

1. A sadist who loved to abuse the genitals of young men

Dating an officer of the Stalinist security apparatus? It's hard to imagine anything worse, especially if your dinner partner was Julia Brystygier, who went down in history as "Bloody Luna". This highly educated woman, doctor of philosophy, made a very good first impression. Her erudition, grace, elegance and exceptional taste made it impossible for anyone to resist her. However, closer contact could reveal that it is not without reason that she has the opinion of " a beast, whose cruelty exceeded the caretakers from Nazi concentration camps ”.

Julia Brystiger graduated from the excellent Jan Kazimierz University in Lviv. The building of the former Jesuit boarding school, handed over to the university in 1851 (author:Stako, license:CC BY-SA 3.0).

Bloody Luna, making a brilliant career in the Stalinist security apparatus, conducted exceptionally cruel interrogations. She is a terrible woman! - Cardinal Wyszyński, who also survived one of them, said about her. Apparently she loved to abuse young men, especially for whom torture always ended in the genital area .

Brystiger resigned from her post after Stalin's death. In later years, she realized how much evil she had done in her life. Through her conversion (real or show), she wanted to atone for the harm she had done to others. Until the end of her days, she behaved like a devout Catholic (read more on that).
