Stanisław Kurkiewicz condemned every form of onanism. However, he could not hide that autoeroticism is his scientific passion. And although he claimed to only warn readers against misdeeds, his text from 1906 sounds more like ... a detailed instruction.
Kurkiewicz was unique on the scale of the era. This pariah of the medical community in Krakow has devoted his entire career to researching human sexuality. Although he lived at the turn of the 20th century, he wrote more bluntly about his sex life than any contemporary doctor. He was not afraid to peek, eavesdrop, ask for the most intimate details.

He also paid off a whole host of "sex-life investigators." Women who, for money, were to inform him about how Poles love each other, how they masturbate, what fetishes, deviations and fantasies they have. "Human scientific curiosity must be satisfied!" - underlined the controversial and today completely forgotten doctor.
The legacy of his life was an enormous archive of sexual knowledge. Based on his collection of observed "events", he published a number of publications, touching absolutely every aspect of eroticism. His magnum opus is Detailed sexual function distinctions. 700 pages of sex, sex and… sex again.

It was in the pages of this bloated publication that Kurkiewicz explored the topic of female autoerotics, which he called "samienstwo" or "saminami". He created a classification of secret activities. And for each of them he coined a new medical term. First of all, he made a specific ranking, determining what forms of masturbation occur (in his opinion) most often.

4. Origin
With a single scabbard, a finger, usually the middle finger, is inserted into the vagina, when the woman is placed supine. Or the woman puts her on her side, brings the front surfaces of her thighs closer to her stomach, and the buttocks are strongly extended - and the finger is inserted from the back and bottom.
Sitting or standing is harder to bury yourself in - in this stance vaginating is rarely done.
