Wat Krajomthong

General Condition

Wat Krajomthong is a temple that is still in use today. Located on the edge of Khlong Bang Noi north side On the east and west sides of the temple there is a small canal running through it.

Wat Krajomthong is located 300 meters east of Wat Saphan and about 2 kilometers west of Khlong Chak Phra.

The condition of the area is a lowland, flooded, and the surrounding area is urban. There are people's houses located alternating with the garden area. Especially on the north side of the temple is a large garden area.

Wat Krajom is a royal temple. Important places inside the temple (Saran Thongpan 2006? :138) are:

Old Ubosot Located near Khlong Bang Noi Facing the east, built in 1915, the original shape was a Chinese cab in the style of Wat Ratchason. Gable decorated with Chinese wares Came to repair and change a new one in 1972. The current gable is a stucco with a face pattern. (Kirati Muk) on the top is Thepanom pattern. Inside enshrines the principal Buddha image in the attitude of subduing Mara.

Jedi There are 5 Buddha images around the former ubosot.

Ubosot It was built in 2001 as a Sukhothai style building. The arches and windows are sculpted with 12 zodiac signs, and the stucco gable is a fan of Somdej Phra Maha Ratchamangkalajarn. All marble floors and walls Received the Wisung Kham Seema in 2006.

Luang Por Sothon Temple It is a one-story concrete building. Enshrined Luang Pho Sothon (replica) with an inscription under the base of the Buddha image saying “10 Feb 1967”. There are also replicas of several sacred Buddha images.

Phra Pariyattham School The original school was built in 1955, but before, the monks from Wat Thong Bang Chueang Nang, Kamphaeng Temple, Coconut Tia Temple, Saphan Temple, Koh Temple, Thepphon Temple, Pak Nam North Bank Temple must come together to study here Currently, there are only 3 temples left:Wat Saphan, Wat Koh and Wat Krajomthong.

There are schools in the land of the temple, including Wat Krajomthong School (Bangkok).
