Such inscriptions are commonly referred to as "Wat Chai Chettha Inscription" was first found under a large tree in the temple. Later, when the temple was built, it was placed in the temple. Also at the back or south side of the temple also enshrines a relic or a small chedi Lan Xang Folk Art The base and the bell body are in a square layout. The bell body is a polygonal lotus in Lan Xang style, but is short in shape, decorated with stucco designs on all 4 sides, while the top is a throne, a lotus and a pagoda. Currently, the whole chedi is painted yellow.

Wat Phra Chai Chetthathirat has not been declared an ancient monument. But the inscription was registered antiquities from the Fine Arts Department in February 1975.
