archaeological essence

Wat Kong Chai is located to the northeast of Wat Phra Non. The buildings within the temple line the east-west axis. Like other temples There are only two temple walls on the west and only two sides. Outside the western wall of the temple appears a large laterite pit.

The viharn stands in front of the current temple, leaving only the base of the building. The distinguishing feature of the Wihan's base is the construction of a high base. The lower base is made of a baseboard, but is stretched until it looks like a wall. On the base of the board is made into the form of a chicken breast lotus base. There are porches both in front and behind. The stairs are built flanking the porch The building hall has 9 rooms, the upper pole is an octagonal laterite column. Inside the building, there are also monks' altars and altars enshrining the principal Buddha image.

The main chedi is located next to the base of the viharn towards the back. Only the square base and the octagonal base remain. The original shape was a bell-shaped chedi with an octagonal base (Department of Fine Arts 2009 :84 - 85).
