archaeological essence

Dok Kamphaeng Ngam is located in Aranyik district on the northeast side of Wat Sing. A rectangular laterite wall is the boundary of the temple. The temple faces east. The buildings inside the temple were made of laterite and built in the east-west direction. Important buildings include

Viharn and main chedi which is a circular or bell-shaped chedi The small chapel is built outside the eastern temple wall. The base of the sanctuary is made in the form of a lotus base or a chicken breast indent or a porch both in front and behind. The main Buddha image inside the viharn is completely destroyed.

The main chedi, located next to the base of the viharn to the back, is made of laterite. The shape of the chedi is a bell-shaped chedi with a square base. The bell body and the top part has collapsed, leaving only the three-tiered lotus. The chedi is similar in shape to the main chedi of Wat Sing, but there is no arch at the temple at Kamphaeng Ngam (the Fine Arts Department 2009 :88 - 89).
