Wat Kitti is a temple dedicated to the body of Phra Muang Kaew. There is a chedi containing relics and relics. In the past, it was probably an important measure. This temple was abandoned when the last abbot passed away about 50 years ago. Later, buildings such as the Viharn Pillar were demolished to build a cubicle at Thung Yu Temple. As for the wood that the Hall of Dharma used to build at Wat Phuoc Taem (the Fine Arts Department 2016)

Wat Kitti Chedi is currently located in Chiang Mai Kindergarten School. There is only one chedi left, in perfect condition. The base of the chedi measures 16 x 16 meters. The south is a 4-storey school building. North is adjacent to the stadium and Ratchamankha Road. Around the pagoda is a concrete floor. There are big trees around. There is a view to the west.

From the form and pattern of the chedi that appears, it is found that it is very similar to Phra That Haripunchai. Therefore, it is assumed that they are of similar age, i.e., around the late 20th Buddhist century (Thanathorn Liamwanich 253 :54-56).

Wat Kitti Chedi was restored and changed to gold by the Fine Arts Department in 2010 (The Fine Arts Department 2016).
