History of the Battle of Ghaghra (1532 AD)

In 1531 AD, Azam Humayun Sarwani, Isa Khan, Bibban Lodi and Bayazid gathered their supporters in Bihar and sent Muhammad Lodi again. This time he consecrated his kingdom in Patna and all the Afghans, including Sher Khan, accepted his legal authority.

Humayun defeated the Afghans at Dohariya in 1532 AD. With this fight, the persecution of the Nuhanis in Bihar started coming to an end. With the fall of the Nuhani rulers, Sher Shah emerged as the new leader among the Afghans in Bihar.
