When was Pearl Harbor build?

The first construction efforts at Pearl Harbor began in the 1880s, when a coaling station was built. In 1898, the United States annexed Hawaii and began to develop Pearl Harbor as a naval base. The most significant construction took place in the early 20th century, including the construction of dry docks, fuel storage facilities, and fortifications. The attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, further emphasized the importance of the base, and led to its rapid expansion and development.
