History of North America

What were three causes of the march revolution?

1. Economic problems: The Russian economy was in a state of crisis in the early 20th century. Industrialization had led to rapid urbanization, but the country's infrastructure was unable to keep up with the demand. This resulted in widespread poverty and unemployment.

2. Political repression: The Tsarist regime was autocratic and oppressive. The Tsar, Nicholas II, was widely unpopular and seen as out of touch with the needs of his people. There was a growing demand for political reform, including a constitutional monarchy and a democratically elected parliament.

3. World War I: Russia's involvement in World War I put a further strain on the country's economy and resources. The war was extremely unpopular, and many Russians felt that they were fighting for a cause that was not their own. The war also led to a sharp increase in casualties, which further eroded public support for the Tsar.
