History of North America

What schools did Benjamin Franklin go to?

Benjamin Franklin did not attend any formal schools. His education was largely self-directed, and he learned by reading books and experimenting on his own. He did attend the Boston Latin School for a short time, but he was expelled for his mischievous behavior. Franklin's lack of formal education did not prevent him from becoming one of the most influential figures in American history. He was a successful businessman, inventor, scientist, and statesman, and his writings on politics, science, and philosophy continue to be studied today.
