History of Europe

Why do French people always surrender?

It is not true that French people always surrender. The reputation of the French for surrendering may come from a few historical events, such as the surrender of France to Nazi Germany in 1940. However, this does not represent the entire history of France or the character of the French people. There have been many instances in which the French have fought courageously and successfully, such as during the French Revolution and World Wars I and II.
