What was a goal of the industrial workers world in 1906?

The Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), also called the Wobblies, was founded in June 1905 in Chicago as a labor union that welcomed all industries but stressed industrial unionism, organizing workers based on their industry rather than their craft. The goal of the IWW was to create "one big union" that would unite workers in all industries. One such goal was to overthrow capitalism and replace it with a cooperative commonwealth through general strikes, sabotage, and other forms of direct action. The Wobbles opposed the wage bargaining of craft unions and demanded that employers recognize the IWW as the sole bargaining agent for all workers in an industry. They envisioned worker-controlled syndicates that would own the means of production.
