History of Europe

What was the capital of Brazilian Empire when Emperor Dom Pedro you fled Napoleon from Portugal to Brazil?

Emperor Dom Pedro did not flee Napoleon from Portugal to Brazil. The transfer of the Portuguese (and, hence, Brazilian) Court to Rio de Janeiro took place in 1808, under the reign of Queen Dona Maria I, because of the imminence of the French invasion of Portugal after the secret signing of the Treaty of Fontainebleau of 27 October 1807.
