What was the official Flag of Germany during World War 2?

The Nazi flag, also known as the Hakenkreuzflagge (meaning "swastika flag"), was the official flag of Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945. The flag featured a red background with a white disc in the center, upon which was a black swastika. The swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used in various cultures throughout history, but it became most prominently associated with Nazism and the Third Reich. The Nazi flag was designed by Adolf Hitler himself and was first used by the Nazi Party (NSDAP) in the early 1920s. It became the official flag of Germany after Hitler came to power in 1933 and remained in use until the end of World War II in 1945.
