Was Joseph Stalin head of the SS?

Joseph Stalin was not the head of the SS (Schutzstaffel). The SS was a paramilitary organization under the control of the Nazi Party in Germany. It was led by various individuals throughout its history, including Heinrich Himmler and Reinhard Heydrich. Joseph Stalin, on the other hand, was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union from 1922 until his death in 1953.
