History of Europe

What are the three ways that civilization in western Europe declined after Roman Empire fell?

1). Germanic Invasions

- After the fall of the Roman Empire, Germanic tribes began to invade western Europe. These tribes were from various parts of Europe, and they had different languages and cultures. The invasions caused widespread destruction and disruption.

2). Economic Decline

- The Roman Empire had been a major economic power, and its fall led to a decline in trade and commerce. The Germanic tribes were not as technologically advanced as the Romans, and they did not have the same infrastructure for trade. This led to a decline in the economy of western Europe.

3). Political Instability

- The fall of the Roman Empire led to a period of political instability in western Europe. The Germanic tribes were not able to establish stable governments, and there was a lot of conflict between different groups. This political instability made it difficult for trade and commerce to flourish.
