What does a egyptologist wear?

An Egyptologist is an archaeologist who studies ancient Egyptian history, culture and civilization. They typically dress in comfortable, lightweight clothing that is appropriate for the climate in Egypt, which can be very hot and dry during the day and cool at night. Fieldwork often involves digging in sand and dirt, so sturdy footwear and long pants are essential. Many Egyptologists also wear hats to protect themselves from the sun and sunglasses to protect their eyes from the glare. Some researchers will wear a face mask that covers the nose and mouth while digging to prevent inhaling dust and sand particles.
