What ethnic groups were affected by the Holocaust?

* Jews: The primary target of the Holocaust, with an estimated six million killed through mass shootings, gassing, and other means.

* Roma (Gypsies): Hundreds of thousands of Roma people were killed in the Holocaust, targeted for their distinct culture and lifestyle.

* Poles: Ethnic Poles suffered greatly under Nazi occupation, with millions killed through execution, forced labor, and deportations to concentration camps.

* Soviet citizens: Millions of Soviet citizens, including Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, and others, were killed during the Holocaust as a result of Nazi Germany's invasion of the Soviet Union.

* Disabled individuals: People with physical or mental disabilities were targeted for extermination under the Nazi euthanasia program.

* Jehovah's Witnesses: Jehovah's Witnesses were persecuted for their refusal to swear loyalty to the Nazi regime and for their pacifist beliefs.

* Homosexuals: Homosexuals were targeted by the Nazis and often sent to concentration camps.
