Contribution of litterateurs of Bihar in the freedom movement

Bihar has a long tradition of such writers, whose literature has given enough inspiration to those who fought in the freedom struggle. Their prominent names are Ramvriksha Benipuri, Shivpujan Sahai, Pandit Jagannath Prasad Chaturvedi, Mukut Dhari Singh, Yugal Kishore Singh, Keshav Ram Bhat, Jiwanand Sharma, Mohanlal Mehta, Ramdhari Singh Dinkar etc.

From books like Pandit Jagannath Prasad Chaturvedi's present condition of India and Swadeshi movement, the fighters of Indian freedom struggle got healthy and enthusiastic. Works like Mahatma Gandhi and Khadi ka Arthashastra in Champaran written by Dr. Rajendra Prasad have played an important role in igniting the fire of struggle in the minds of freedom fighters.

In 1915, Raibahadur Rao Ranvijay Singh's important work European Great War and the Duty of India was published. The story of the imprisonment written by Bhavani Dayal Sanyasi and the story of the migrant etc. is a very important heritage. The history of the national movement of Champaran, the unprinted work of Shri Pir Mohammad Moonis, resident of Bettiah Nagar, Pandit Champaran, was an inspirational material for the freedom fighters.

Acharya Shivpujan Sahay has played the role of an important motivator in the freedom movement in both the medium of journalism and literary creation. The Mundmal story of national context, compiled in his famous story collection named Vibhuti, is of utmost importance from the point of view of inspiration of freedom fighters. The immortal message of revolution written by him is entirely related to the freedom movement itself. Apart from this, before independence and the title of the country's attention, his articles have requested his letter to the freedom fighters and their duty which is relevant even today.

The works of the great Hindi litterateur Shri Ramvriksha Benipuri have been inspired by the freedom fighters. There is a light of leftist nationalism in the country of the novels of Ramvriksha Benipuri and in the prisoner's wife and Chitra Laltara. Hindi prose writer Raja Radhika Raman Prasad Singh's works related to independence are of great importance. Raja Saheb's story published in 1938 AD has a very important place of Gandhi Topi.

Among such litterateurs were Ramvriksha Benipuri, Rahul Sankrityayan, Manohar Prasad Sinha, Ramdayal Pandey, Raghuveer Narayan etc.

English journalist Mahesh Narayan started the movement for the establishment of independent Bihar through Bihar (later Bihar Times). Gopal Shastri, a resident of Jagannathpur in Saran district, was a little-known poet. He has also written poems to awaken the spirit of independence. His famous books are- Rashtrabhasha Bhushan, Rashtradharmapradeshika, Harijan Samridhi etc.

Mukut Lal Mishra Rang was the second capable poet of this day. In this way, he was a beautiful poet, but he was also endowed with yuga consciousness. He has translated the verse of Durga Saptashati in the name of Durga Vijay.

Babu Raghuveer Narayan has composed poetry in both Khari Boli and Bhojpuri, which also has a sad feeling of patriotism. His most famous poem is Batohiya, in which patriotism has been enriched with natural beauty. His second patriotic song in Bhojpuri is Bharat-Bhavani which is often sung in national assemblies like Vande Mataram.

The country, which came out under the direction of Deshratna Rajendra Prasad, has the same place in the world of letters as that of Pratap of Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi in Uttar Pradesh. These letters aroused the national sentiment among the countrymen without caring about repression.

From 1928 to 1942, many revolutionary and patriotic poems of Dinkar ji came out, which inspired the people of India and gave extraordinary courage to the poet. Among them, lifelessness, Himalaya, heart, outcry and begging of fire etc. are notable. Devvrat Shastri and Jagannath Mishra were two such artists in this era, were directly related and were giving strength to the national consciousness with their writings.

Many stories of Rahul Sankrityayan are also memorable from the point of view of marking the pain of antiquity.
